Spadecraft is a Spades app that reviews the hand afterwards, card by card, and tells you what each decision cost. If something is wrong, or a review said something you disagree with, write to us.
One person reads this, so an answer takes a few days rather than an hour. Say which device you are on and what version the settings screen shows, and it will take one round instead of three.
Send the hand. Copy hand record on the review screen puts the whole hand on the clipboard — every card, in order, with the deal it came from — and settings keeps the last finished hand so the export outlives the review. Paste that into the email. With it the position can be replayed exactly; without it there is nothing to look at.
Export the hand record as above. It carries the commitment the app published before the deal, both seeds, and the deal itself — which is everything a check needs, and the reason the export exists. The landing page prints the two lines of the scheme, so the record can be recomputed by anyone you hand it to.
Being straight about the limit: the specification and our verifier are written but not published yet, so today this means implementing two hashes rather than running a tool we gave you. Ask here for the specification and we will send it.
Reset progress on the settings screen clears your level, your form, your record and your kept hands. It asks first, and it is the only destructive thing in the app.
Progress is stored on the device and nowhere else, so it does not follow you to a new phone and it cannot be restored by us — there is no copy on a server to restore from. See the privacy page for exactly what is kept.
Nothing. No account, no backend, no analytics, no ads. The privacy page lists every key the app writes and says which sentence would change if that ever stopped being true.
Write to the address above. For a rule you think is wrong, say which card, which trick and what you expected instead — Spades varies by table and half of these turn out to be a variation we do not deal rather than a bug, which is worth telling you either way.
Same address. Some of the biggest questions are genuinely still open — which rule variations ship, and what the paid tier costs — so a request about one of those is arriving before the decision rather than after it.
